News brief: BASF to raise price on Styropor polystyrene
BASF announced it will increase the price for all grades of Styropor expandable polystyrene in North America by $0.08 per pound, effective Feb. 1. According to the company, the hike is in response to increased raw material costs in components such as benzene, a principal precursor in the production of EPS.
