Three winners have been selected in Mannington Commercial’s recent contest for an all-expenses paid trip to Greenbuild this year. Angela Crum of RTKL in Dallas, Ash Moss of Niles Bolton in Atlanta, and Jennifer Wagner of TWP Architecture in Wisconsin will be traveling to the world’s premier green building conference and expo as Mannington's guests.

At the show, the trio will be searching for sustainable trends to share on a live webcast from the show, as part of Mannington’s “Bring Greenbuild Local” events in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.. Spread out over Wednesday and Thursday, the events will bring Greenbuild -– along with CEU credits on LEED 2009 -– to designers and architects who will not be traveling to Greenbuild in Phoenix.

“It was a challenge to choose from among the many entrants who shared reasons why they wanted to go to Greenbuild,” said Natalie Jones, vp commercial brand development and creative product. “But our three winners articulated what many designers and architects are feeling right now –- that even in difficult economic times, it is still so important to continue to push green design forward. Our winners spoke of learning about great new products and services, then using this knowledge to influence sustainable practices at their firms and share great ideas with the wider design community.”

“Our hope is that Greenbuild inspires each of our winners,” she added, “and they can in turn help us inspire others with the great ideas we see in seminars and at the expo.”

The online contest was held on Mannington's tx:style designer community, attxstyle-mannington.com. The company will hodl the second annual tx:style design challenge on Nov. 30. Designers will submit carpet designs for a chance to have their idea become a full line of commercial carpet. For more information, visit the website.
