In 2009, we will once again present an exciting new portfolio of products that are sure to set new trends for the future of floor covering.
Even with the current business situation we see opportunities with new products that offer innovative and creative solutions to our customers.
We see a definite trend toward natural, quiet, eco-efficient and affordable fashionable products. Our designers have created new colors, patterns, shapes, textures and combinations of material guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. The expansion of the Wicanders branded products will be complimented by a refreshed and revamped image of the brand.
Through partnerships with environmental organizations such as the WWF®, and establishing itself as an eco-efficient company, Amorim creates products made of cork, a raw material that absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere, aids in biodiversity and helps delay desertification. These are the drivers for our commitment to environmental preservation.
We use safer material to manufacture our products – like Acrodur®, a formaldehyde-free water-based eco-friendly binder by BASF. Our products have received GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® product performance certification. Because certification is rigorous and voluntary, it’s a true “value-add” for our customers.
