Surfaces 2008 is set to include the most new products in
the show’s history. That is the consensus of show organizers based on interest
in a New Product Preview brochure. Offering a sneak peak of the newest designs
and trends from exhibiting manufacturers, the brochure is slated to feature
more than 200 new products, which represents “a 17 percent increase [in
participation] over 2007 and a 14 percent increase over 2006.”
“Exhibitors understand the need
to continue to roll out innovative products in order to meet the demands of the
customer,” said Dana Teague, show director for Surfaces. “The number of new
product entries in the brochure is indicative of their commitment to doing
that.”
Many manufacturers featured in the
brochure are also set to roll out their latest products at the New Product
Pavilion. Sponsored byNational Floor Trends, Floor Covering
InstallerandTILE Magazine,the
pavilion will give show goers a first look at new products outside of the
standard exhibit format. NFT and its sister magazines are also sponsoring
two other exhibit areas debuting at the show – the Decorative Concrete and
Hand-Crafted Tile pavilions.
