StarNet recognizes Pfizer for 'green' feats
Partnering with StarNet co-op member Consolidated Carpet to reclaim its waste carpet, Pfizer Inc.'s New York World Headquarters diverted more than 280,000 square feet of carpeting from landfills in 2005. To attain these numbers, the pharmaceutical giant sought help from the StarNet/CARE Reclamation Program. For its efforts, Pfizer was formally recognized by StarNet Commercial Flooring Cooperative at a ceremony at Pfizer's New York offices.
