Collins & Aikman Floorcoverings receives consents from holders of senior subordinated notes

DALTON, Ga. -- Collins & Aikman Floorcoverings Inc. reported that it has received consents from holders of more than a majority of its 10% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2007 and Series B 10% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2007 in connection with its previously announced tender offer and consent solicitation for the notes.

As a result, the proposed amendments to the indenture governing the notes have been adopted. The company will execute a supplemental indenture reflecting the Proposed Amendments.
