Goodwin Heart Pine Co. has appointed Terry O'Brian to the newly created position of chief operating officer, effective immediately. In this role, O'Brian will be responsible for all manufacturing and marketing responsibilities at the Micanopy, Fla., facility.

O'Brian has more than 25 years experience in manufacturing and sales, with 18 years spent at Corning Glassworks in New York and SE Manufacuring Co. in Ocala. Most recently he was involved in commercial sales and service of flooring products with Great Lakes Carpet and Tile in The Villages in central Florida.
