The Southern California Floor Covering Association (SCFCA) will host a March 9 meeting to address workers' compensation insurance. On hand to address attendees' questions will be Jerry Nisker of HRH Insurance Services, the endorsed insurance brokers for the WFCA's new workers' compensation insurance program.

Among the topics scheduled to be covered in the program are: saving money on workers' compensation insurance through the new SCFCA/WFCA insurance program; reducing experience modification by joining the SCFCA/WFCA workers' comp program; controlling the direction of a workers' compensation injury for up to 180 days rather than the current 30-day period; and current workers' comp proposals designed to give California floor covering firms rate relief during 2004 or 2005.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., March 9, at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim, Calif. Reservations to attend must be made no later than March 6. The cost to attend is $25 for members with reservations, $30 for members without reservations and $35 for non-members of the SCFCA.
