Consumer rebates will vary based on the product purchased. Mannington will rebate from $1.80/sq. yd. to $3.60/sq. yd. for resilient products and $5 per carton for laminate and hardwood, according to the company. To receive their rebate, consumers must mail in the original invoice with a completed coupon. The rebate coupon will be available at the retail location or may be downloaded from www.mannington.com.
Additionally, Mannington is conducting a 10-city television media tour, directly reaching consumers in major markets throughout the United States.
Mannington's web site currently features a pop-up screen with complete information for consumers—from details on products with Teflon and viewable versions of the ads, to information on the rebate program and printable coupons.
For retailers, Spiffs will add incentive to encourage fall sales of Teflon products. Retailers will receive monetary reward based on product sold during the duration of the promotion, according to Mannington.
