The Flooring Industry Council of St. Louis and the St. Louis Concrete Council are sponsoring a Moisture in Concrete seminar, 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 7, at the St. Louis Frontenac Hilton Hotel.

It will bring together members of the floor covering and concrete industries and architects and specifiers. Howard Olansky, senior editor of National Floor Trends & Floor Covering Installer magazines, will moderate.

A panel of experts will answer questions and discuss the moisture in concrete problems and what can be done about them.

Panel members will include Dennis Ahal, CEO, Ahal Contracting Co., St. Louis; Christopher Capobianco, technical support manager, TOLI International; Ward Malisch, senior managing director, technical operations, American Concrete Institute; Larry Press, director of technical services, Para-Chem; and Ray Thompson, manager, field installation training, Armstrong World Industries.
