Pilot Chemical Co. has appointed Bayer Chemicals as distributor of diphenyl oxide disulfonate (DPOS), manufactured by Pilot Chemical for the North American textile market. Bayer will market the DPOS under its Tanapure trade name.

DPOS is a textile dyeing auxiliary, used during the dyeing process mainly for nylon carpet to promote level dye uptake and color fastness.

This agreement further expands the portfolio of products that Bayer Chemicals offers for all stages of textile processing.
