Resilient, hardwood, laminate, and ceramic floor products manufacturer Armstrong Flooring garnered a Golden Hammer Award for the third consecutive year as its Bruce Hardwood Floors business unit received a gold-level award during this week's National Hardware Show in Las Vegas.

Sponsored by home retailing publication Home Channel News magazine, the award program recognizes in 38 categories elite suppliers that demonstrate the greatest overall commitment in support of home-center and building-material dealers.

Bruce received the highest-level award in the Home Decor, Hard Surface Flooring product category for demonstrating superior support of retailer sales, marketing and partnership efforts. More than 2,500 ballots were e-mailed to buyers and merchandise managers of America's top 500 home center/building material dealers/retailers. The winners were chosen from among more than 760 manufacturers.

"This is indeed an honor and a validation of the excellent feedback we receive from our retailers about Bruce Hardwood Floors," said Roger Oates, vice president of Marketing, Armstrong Flooring. "Bruce always has been associated with quality, and winning the Golden Hammer Award demonstrates Armstrong's leadership and commitment to our partners."

The 20th annual Golden Hammer Awards were presented May 10 to kick-off the National Hardware Show. Vendors who received the most votes within their respective category received the Golden Hammer gold-level award and the vendor with the second most votes received the Golden Hammer Silver Award.
