Mannington Mills was recently honored with a recycling award from the Association of New Jersey Recyclers and the New Jersey Dept. of Environmental Protection for Source Waste Reduction and Resource Management.

The company was recognized for its impressive elimination of EPA-listed chemical use and its sweeping reduction of hazardous waste generation, both of which have decreased by more than 98 percent over the last 10 years. Mannington's process of reusing scrap from various sheet flooring production lines as a raw material for the separate VCT product was noted as well.
