DALLAS -- Dal-Tile International Inc. announced the public offering of 16 million shares of common stock by certain selling stockholders priced at $13.75 per share.

The company will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares in the offering. The selling stockholders have granted the underwriters an option exercisable at any time until June 15, 2001 to purchase as much as an additional 2.4 million shares to cover over-allotments, if any, at the initial offering price.
