DALTON, Ga. -- The Dalton Floor Covering Market Association (DFCMA), sponsors of the Carpet Technologies Show scheduled for Sept. 11-13 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton, announced a near sell out of exhibit space for the event.

With more than 154 exhibitors to date, DFCMA officials said they expect to be at full capacity for the biannual event. The show is expected to cover 50,000 square feet of exhibit space. International suppliers and equipment manufacturers, representing the various product segments within the floor covering industry, will feature the latest engineered products, machinery and services for the 2001 show.

Pre-show events include the third annual Tufters on the Turf Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 10, at the Barnsley Inn and Golf club. Net proceeds will be used to implement educational programs for DFCMA members. An opening night Welcome Reception for attendee and exhibitors alike will take place Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the upper concourse of the Trade & Convention Center. Welcome reception tickets are available for $25.
