Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The new LDBrinkman Corp. is headed by CEO Eddie Lesok and President Jeff Sills.
Lesok and Sills said their company will pursue a range of growth opportunities including the introduction of new carpet products in residential, builder, and commercial lines. In addition, Brinkman will add a new vinyl product line called Classic Creations to provide customers with additional choices in sheet vinyl and vinyl tile.
"This transaction concludes an overall restructuring on the part of Beaulieu," noted Ralph Boe, president of Beaulieu Residential. He added that this and other recent transactions have improved Beaulieu's financial condition and given the company greater latitude to invest time and resources to better develop its soft-surface business.
"I am confident that the business and sales of LDBrinkman will do better under local management and direct sales efforts with independent dealers," Boe added.
The reborn Brinkman will operate out of 13 locations strategically located to service the Southwest and Western sections of the United States. The company serves Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, Tennessee, Colorado, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Nevada, Arizona, and California.
