To be considered a candidate for entry, potential inductees are required to have a sponsor who will fill out a thorough application listing the nominee's work history and any significant business, trade, governmental and civic accomplishments the nominee has achieved to improve the business and the community. Plans call for nominations to be reviewed by a special committee for potential induction into the Hall. The WFCA notes that up to three inductees may be accepted, though the possibility also exists for no candidates to be inducted. If a deserving candidate is selected, an award presentation and formal induction ceremony will be held "at a yet to be determined location in 2007," the WFCA says.
Hall of Fame applications are available by mailing the association at: WFCA, 2211 E. Howell Ave., Anaheim, CA 92806; calling (800) 624-6880 ext. 17; or faxing (714) 978-6066.
