The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Expo will bring together wood flooring professionals nationwide on April 15-17. This gathering serves as a hub for sharing technical expertise, business strategies and innovative products designed to enhance efficiency, improve installation techniques and deliver superior results.
The two-day tradeshow offers attendees the chance to discover cutting-edge wood flooring products, tools, equipment and flooring options that can elevate their projects. This preview highlights selected manufacturers and the products they'll be featuring at the Expo.

Delmhorst

The Delmhorst BDX-30 brings all the design elements and functionality of the BDX-20 and introduces Bluetooth integration to the Navigator family with the Delmhorst Edge app. This addition to the meter enhances your ability to ensure precise readings and export data from anywhere, including geotags and timestamps. With the Edge app, users can also select from 37 species and materials.
The BDX-30 is suitable for wood floors, concrete slabs, and gypsum cement; offers pin measurement at a 5/16” depth and Bluetooth connectivity for iOS and Android devices.
Kährs

The Estate Collection is made in the U.S., offering up oak, hard maple and hickory in wide and narrow, tongue and groove planks. The acrylic matte finish is UV-cured across all three wood species. The oak comes in 8 looks, ranging from a clean neutral to rich, deep brown. Five colors from light brown to a near-black brown make up the hard maple style. The three hickory looks come in light, medium and dark brown.
All three styles are 5/8” thick with a seven-ply construction and 3 mm sawn face. The oak look comes in a 7.5” width, and the hard maple and hickory looks are available in a 5” width. Kährs will be launching a 9.15” wide format oak plank.

The four oak styles in the Canvas Collection have been updated to offer a spectrum of color from warm neutrals to contemporary taupes to rich browns. These trend-forward colors feature a brushed texture with a matte finish in a ½” thickness. The planks are available in 5” widths and come with Kährs Woodloc 5G joint technology.
Laticrete

Vapor Ban ER is a rapid-curing, single-coat moisture vapor barrier that controls moisture emissions from new and existing concrete slabs. This 100% solids epoxy exceeds ASTM F3010 standards with an ultra-low perm rating, protecting against moisture-related flooring failures. It allows for final flooring installations in just three hours and can be applied over new concrete in as little as five days, reducing downtime and accelerating project completion. Oil-tolerant and easy to apply by roller or squeegee, Vapor Ban ER is compatible with non-water-based adhesives, used with hardwood flooring.

Primer Plus is an all-in-one premium concentrated primer that increases bond strength and maximizes the performance of self-leveling underlayments and crack isolation peel and stick membranes on interior substrates. It delivers enhanced reliability and greater simplicity to flooring professionals. With standout adhesion, and formulation with nanoparticles, it penetrates deep into substrates to prevent the absorption of moisture from self-leveling underlayments, ensuring long-lasting durability. Easy to use, Primer Plus can be applied with a broom, roller, or sprayer, offering flexibility for various project needs. In addition to being UL Greenguard certified, it comes in sustainable packaging with 25% recycled content.

NXT Level Plus Lite is a premium lightweight, fiber-reinforced, cement-based underlayment designed for leveling a wide range of interior projects using concrete, plywood, OSB, or gypsum substrates prior to the application of floor coverings. At nearly half the cured weight of a standard self-leveling underlayment (SLU), it’s a great option for installations with load-bearing concerns.
This versatile, rapid-setting underlayment is pourable and pump friendly; allows for up to 4" (102 mm) in pour depth; and consistently produces a flat, smooth, and hard surface in as soon as 24 hours. NXT Level Plus Lite packaging is 50% lighter than a traditional SLU and contains no respirable crystalline silica levels that exceed the OSHA action level.

Skim Lite is a premium, fast-drying, lightweight cement-based underlayment designed to skim coat, smooth and level surfaces before installing floor coverings. Apply from a feather edge up to 1" (25 mm), walk on, and install final flooring in as soon as 20 minutes—saving time and minimizing downtime. This fiber-reinforced, water-resistant formula provides exceptional durability, is caster wheels safe, and withstands 100% RH concrete slabs and more. With its lightweight 8 lb. packaging, Microban antimicrobial protection, and no respirable crystalline silica levels that exceed the OSHA action level, Skim Lite is safer, easier to move around the job site, and more efficient than traditional skim coats.

Trusted cement-based self-leveling underlayments achieve UL certification for fire resistance. Lignomat

The Lignomat Mini-Ligno DX/C is used in the flooring, woodworking, cabinet making, veneer production and restoration industries and offers the most features of all Mini-Lignos: A wide moisture range 5-65%, pins and connector for external attachments, and 46 settings to correct for domestic and tropical wood species; horizontal, vertical and strand bamboo; subfloors, OSB and AdvanTech; laminates and panel products; gypsum, different types of wall boards; and reference scale for non-wood materials such as plaster, insulation, concrete.
The electrode E12 (2″ deep) can be added for core measurements in wood or for measuring sub floors without removing floor planks. Water damaged areas in the building envelope can be reached up to 7″ deep with the electrode E14 and the EL pins.

The Mini-Ligno MD/C comes with built-in pins and a connection for external probes. Measuring range is 6-25%, indicated in 1% steps. Two wood groups are built-in for softwoods and hardwoods as well as panel products.
The MD/C delivers consistently accurate measurements down to 6%, low enough for woodworking, furniture making and flooring. The range up to 25% is high enough for home construction, water damage repair, lumber drying even firewood.
An external probe can be added for depth measurements of thick lumber or remote cables for in-kiln monitoring. You can even install a cable to check if a newly fixed water leak is gone or add the E14-m Inspector Electrode for spot checking water damaged areas.
MAPEI

Ultrabond ECO 907 is a fast-curing, 100%-solids, silane-modified polymer, moisture-curing, gun-grade adhesive designed for basic wood subfloor construction. With a two-hour cure time, this adhesive provides high bond strength and excellent elongation properties for a variety of substrates.
Ultrabond ECO 907 can be used to repair wood flooring, install wood molding and baseboards, bond wood stair nosings, and attach tackstrips to concrete subfloors. It is also ideal for supplemental bonding of wide plank boards when nailing and gluing are required.

Ultrabond ECO 987 is MAPEI’s premium, single-component, heavy-body wood-flooring adhesive, featuring a hybrid-polymer formulation free from water, solvents, amines, isocyanates, phthalate plasticizers, and epoxy resins. With its extremely low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, Ultrabond ECO 987 excels in sound reduction, making it ideal for multi-unit housing. Additionally, it offers moisture control, safeguarding wood floors from vapor emissions through concrete slabs in a single application. This 100%-solids adhesive ensures durable bond strength for both exotic and domestic wood species and maintains excellent trowel-ridge holdout for optimal adhesion.

Oil Plus 2C is a revolutionary, plant-based hardwax oil wood stain and finish in one. SheenPlus is a 0% VOC sheen enhancer and eco-friendly polyurethane alternative that provides a durable satin look to wood surfaces treated with Oil Plus 2C. SheenPlus enhances the natural beauty of your wood while maintaining superior protection. The combination of oil (A) and accelerator (B) ensures a fast cure time, with a formula that is both solvent and water-free.
The product is applied in a simple, single layer that does not form a film. Maintenance is simple and it is locally repairable. SheenPlus keeps the look and feel of real wood but with an added luster.

Precolor Easy is an optional, water-based wood stain and pretreatment designed to be applied before Oil Plus 2C to create unique complementary and contrasting effects.
Available in 14 mixable colors, Precolor Easy offers limitless creative possibilities for achieving a distinctive wood finish. This wood stain is ideal for looks that cannot be accomplished in a single step. It does not protect the wood, and it must be finished with a coat of Oil Plus 2C to ensure optimal protection of the wood surface.

Pre-Aging is a high-quality, non-reactive pretreatment designed to give wood deep color with subtle aged accents without any toxic fumes or vapors. It transforms new wood, giving it a character-filled, timeless allure.
This unique pretreatment is available in 10 mixable colors and spans a spectrum from light to dark smoked and fumed tones, allowing for custom color creations and personalized looks to be achieved. Oil Plus 2C must be used to finish wood treated with Pre-Aging as it does not provide protection on its own.
