Design professionals at this spring's High Point Market will find an unexpected touch of warmth among the luxury home furnishings: adoptable dogs from a local animal rescue.
Lavin Rugs, the Fort Worth-based rug manufacturer, announced a heartwarming partnership with the SPCA of the Triad during the upcoming furniture industry trade show. The collaboration aims to raise awareness for animal adoption while showcasing the company's commitment to community impact.
As part of the initiative, Lavin representatives will walk adoptable dogs throughout the Market campus, giving these shelter pets visibility among thousands of industry professionals and potential adopters. The family-owned rug company hopes the high-profile setting will help these animals find forever homes while drawing attention to the SPCA's broader mission.
Visitors to Lavin's showroom during the event can donate directly to the SPCA of the Triad, participate in special giveaways, and receive personalized pet tags for their own animal companions.
The SPCA of the Triad, celebrating 30 years of service to the community, currently houses 60 animals in need of homes and relies entirely on local donations. The organization focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for abused, neglected, and injured animals.
Market attendees interested in learning more about the SPCA of the Triad's work can visit triadspca.org for additional information.
