The world's largest flooring industry gathering is set to return to Shanghai as Domotex Asia/ChinaFloor announces its 27th edition, scheduled for May 26-28, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

The three-day event comes off the heels of a record-breaking 2024 show, which saw international visitor numbers surge by 25% to 17,923, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Overall attendance reached 83,850 professionals from 117 countries.

More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 40 countries will showcase their products across seven dedicated halls, featuring everything from traditional carpets to cutting-edge flooring technologies. The exhibition will be divided into two main sectors: the carpet and rugs sector, which occupies two halls, and the hard flooring sector, which spans four halls, with an additional hall dedicated to FloorTech Asia, which will focus on the hard-surface supply chain, including raw materials, machinery, accessories, coating, installation technologies, testing and certification.

In a significant development, co-organizers Globus Events and Hannover Milano Fairs China have established DACF Exhibitions Shanghai Ltd.. This new joint venture company will manage the show starting in 2025. The move signals a deeper investment in the region's flooring industry.

"This new partnership strengthens our position as Asia's leading platform for the flooring industry," said Sonia Wedell Castellano, Global Director at DOMOTEX. The organizational change aims to enhance the show's ability to drive innovation and create industry synergies while maintaining operational continuity.

Major industry players, including Swisskrono, CFL, and Unilin Technologies in the hard flooring sector, and Bikaner, Elite, and Standard Carpets in the carpet segment, have confirmed their participation, highlighting the event's significance in the global flooring market.
