San Antonio's fifth-generation flooring retailer, O'Krent Floors, recently bolstered its presence in the design community through a successful Wine & Design networking event. The gathering highlighted the company's dedication to fostering strong relationships with local interior designers.

The event featured presentations from Emser Tile executives. Suzanne Zurfluh, director of design and trend, shared insights on current design and color trends, and Randall Sheehee, director of national accounts, delivered a Natural Stone continuing education course. Emser Tile also unveiled plans for its new luxury brand experience, Enhance, set to launch at select showrooms in 2025.

According to Margie O'Krent, vice president and CFO of O'Krent Floors, the company has strengthened its connections to the local design trade following Interceramic's U.S. operations closure. A key addition to their team is Evelyn Aviles, who brings 18 years of experience as Interceramic's showroom manager in San Antonio, Texas, and now serves as O'Krent's trade liaison.

The strategic expansion of O'Krent's design trade relationships demonstrates the company's commitment to serving the professional design community in the San Antonio market. O'Krent Floors is a member of the National Floorcovering Alliance.
