This Veterans Day, Daltile continues its ongoing partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, supporting the construction of specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans through the foundation's R.I.S.E.(Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) Program.

The program, which provides mortgage-free homes to wounded military heroes, is one of several initiatives by the foundation established in 2011 by actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise. Daltile contributes by donating tile materials for these custom-built homes, designed to restore independence to veterans facing physical challenges from their service.

"These fully customized homes make a tremendous difference in the lives of the men and women who have served," said Jay Samber, Daltile's vice president of sales, noting the visible impact when veterans first see their new homes.

According to Paij Thorn-Brooks, vice president of marketing for Daltile, the company is "very grateful for the opportunity to help honor and serve our heroes and their families through this program."

The Gary Sinise Foundation, focused on supporting military service members, first responders, and their families, exemplifies its founder's belief that "we can always do a little more" to show gratitude to America's defenders.

Meet a few (of the many) heroes thriving in their new, specially adapted forever homes.
