MAPEI Corporation's advanced sports-flooring products transformed the center court of the 2024 Red Bull Half Court tournament into a work of art designed by Carolina De La Cruz Rodriguez.
The global 3-on-3 basketball competition, featuring over 8,000 participants from 21+ countries, culminated in New York City's Brooklyn Bridge Park on October 19-20, 2024. Serbia claimed victory in the men's final against the United States, while Japan triumphed over the Philippines in the women's division.
The court's vibrant design was achieved using MAPEI's Mapecoat TNS system, which included specialized products for crack repair, surface reinforcement, and durable finishing. The creation of the court involved the application of the following MAPEI products:
