HMTX Industries, a global flooring company based in Norwalk, Connecticut, has achieved the renewal of its Just 2.0 Label for the company’s U.S. employees and operations through June 2026.

The Just Label is a voluntary program from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) that helps organizations evaluate their commitment to social justice and equity. The program is similar to a nutrition label, and it's not a certification. Instead, it's a way for organizations to disclose their operations and be recognized at four performance levels.

HMTX remains the only flooring manufacturer to obtain a Just label, and renewing the Just label emphasizes the importance HMTX places upon organizational transparency and improvement in social justice and equity.

“Just has encouraged us to evaluate our organization through a social justice and equity lens,” said Debarati Sen, HMTX’s group president. “We are proud to provide organizational transparency through Just as we continue to put people before profits.”

HMTX’s Just 2.0 label was achieved through a collaborative effort of the organization’s Sustainability, Transparency, Impact, and Community team, led by Rochelle Routman, its Chief Sustainability and Impact officer.

“HMTX’s continued support of Just shows commitment to organizational transparency and the standards we hold ourselves to,” Routman said.
