Three companies in the flooring industry announce their team's recent expansion and growth. Here are some highlights.

The Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) announced the appointment of Zoe Heller as the new CalRecycle director. 

Heller worked at the EPA from 2006 to 2017, and has held several roles at CalRecycle since 2017. She has been CalRecycle’s circular economy division director since 2023 and has served in several other roles there from 2017 to 2022. She has worked as deputy director of policy development and as deputy director of the Materials Management and Local Assistance division. 

Bona recently welcomed three new team members to the Bona Professional team: Vicky Jones as A&D commercial specification manager; Juan Martinez as adhesives sales manager for the Texas region; and Erik Lundgren as a territory manager in Western Canada.  

Jones will focus on partnering with architects and designers to drive Bona specifications on residential and commercial projects.  While she will focus on the entire Bona System, her focus will be on the beneficial environmental aspects of utilizing GreenGuard Gold certified products and Bona’s solutions that fit into this category. Jones brings more than 25 years of experience in the interior flooring industry, working for several manufacturers in sales, specifications and design. Martinez joines Bona with two decades of experience in the sales and account management industry, specializing in construction sales. Lundgren joins Bona after many years of using Bona products as a member of the Bona Certified Craftsman Program and 15 years of experience installing and refinishing floors.

Southwind Floors announced that Cindy Hansen has joined Southwind as the new North Central territory manager and Kayla Kitten as the new South Central territory manager.
