Global flooring manufacturer Tarkett has unveiled a non-PVC plank and tile flooring collection, Collective Pursuit. This launch is part of the company's broader strategy to help its customers meet their sustainability goals. Tarkett is positioning Collective Pursuit as a high-performance alternative to luxury vinyl tile, with a specific focus on dimensional stability, impact resistance and ease of maintenance.

"Testing has proven that Collective Pursuit will perform as well as traditional LVT, making it an ideal resilient solution for customers who are committed to non-PVC materials," said Paul Young, Tarkett Contract's senior vice president of market segments, product, innovation, design and sustainability.

The new collection will feature 10 wood and stone visuals, including designs like Kyoto Stone, Monteverde Oak and Umbria Oak.

Tarkett's Vice President of Design, Omoleye Simmons, describes the collection as an effort to create spaces that evoke feelings of joy and harmony. "Joy is a universal language. It's conveyed through our expressions and in our step," says Simmons. "When you walk on Collective Pursuit, you're transported to those places on Earth that universally translate beauty to joy, serenity to sensibility, and nature to harmony."

In addition to its design and performance features, Tarkett is emphasizing the sustainability of the Collective Pursuit collection. The flooring is LBC Red List Free and ortho-phthalate–free. It is also part of Tarkett's ReStart flooring take-back and recycling program. To facilitate easy design and color coordination, Collective Pursuit will be available on Tarkett's Brilliance Digital Color System.
