Exclusive ceramic tiles from Wow Design have been selected to be part of the "Appartamento Spagnolo" space, an installation that can be visited at the Fuori Salone during Milan Design Week, which coincides with the Salone del Mobile in Milan, from April 15 to 21.
The interior design project, signed by DWA Design Studio, showcases the excellence of Spanish design through a selection of 18 Spanish companies from the habitat and interior design sectors in the historic rooms of Palazzo Castiglioni, including Wow Design tiles.
The collection presented is Raster. This design allows architects and interior designers to create endless different modern patterns and grid-like designs. The tiles are divided into horizontal parallel lines, creating rectangles and squares of different sizes. These patterns, etched directly into the surface of the tiles, can all be mixed and matched, since they fit in geometrically with one another. The 15x15cm tiles come in a choice of geometrical patterns and colors.
The interior design project, carried out by Frederik De Wachter and Alberto Artesani of the DWA studio and curated by Elle Decor Italia, reinterprets the spaces of this historic palace, establishing a dialogue between a classical architectural system and making contemporary design decisions to create a livable, fluid, and continuous space.
Promoted by ICEX - Spain Export and Investment, Palazzo Castiglioni hosts the second edition of the "Appartamento Spagnolo". This project becomes an innovative space for real and experiential interior design: a genuine temporary home open to the public, where indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories coexist, featuring six differentiated atmospheres among rooms, winter garden, and outdoor patio, leading the visitor to another dimension where the exterior and interior meet and intertwine seamlessly.
