Alliance Flooring celebrated the first 50 flooring retailers who are early adopters of the group's new Perfect Home selling solution at a special event October 22-25, 2023, at Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia.
Members began receiving Perfect Home carpet displays before the event at Barnsley in October. Hard surface displays will debut in early Q2 2024.
“The carpet, which is Phase 1A of Perfect Home, has now launched successfully," said Kevin Logue, co-President and CEO of Alliance Flooring. "This is an entirely new direction for the company. It’s an innovative program and we’re passionate about it."
Alliance Flooring Co-Presidents Ryan Dunn and Kevin Logue kicked off the event with a Town Hall to welcome members and explain what they hoped to accomplish at the gathering. They also laid out next steps and future plans for the Perfect Home selling solution.
The event also featured product training by suppliers. The "Tech Avengers" technology partners were in attendance for the Tech Expo round table event to make sure their Perfect Home dealers are taking full advantage of all the new tools available to them. Their Tech Avengers are Roomvo, Mobile Marketing, SamplesApp, Form Films, along with new technology suppliers Showroom Pricing and QFloors.
"We appreciate all the support from our vendors and our members," said Ryan Dunn, Alliance co-President and CEO. "We previewed a new member portal with more features they requested, and it went over very well. This has been a great show."
Round tables gathered input from members about hard surface products that might be included in Perfect Home, Phase 1B. Members were able to give their input as to which hard surface products should be included by checking off their favorite LVT, LVP and laminate selections.
"It's great to have input upfront," said Alliance Flooring member Don Cantor of Lake Interiors in Chelan, Washington. "We really enjoyed the round tables. The whole experience at the Showcase was very positive."
Members were able to have a little fun participating in resort activities and also treated to a mill tour of Engineered Floors’ SAM Plant in Dalton, Georgia.
“We had a dedicated team of people who worked very hard to make this launch, including the shipping, as smooth as possible," Logue said. "We expect the Perfect Home selling solution and technology platform to be around for, at the very least, the next 10 years.”
