Cersaie 2023 opened on September 25 in Bologna, Italy, with 630 exhibitors across 15 halls presenting a preview of the latest trends in surfaces and bathroom furnishings for the design of architectural spaces.
Design professionals, contractors and operators of the sector attend the show to see innovative products in the field of design, including tiles and large-format slabs for floors and walls in ceramic and other materials, bathroom furniture, fireplaces, saunas, signer taps, bathtubs and sanitaryware. Cersaie continues to nurture the next generation of tile professionals.
More than 2,500 students from the Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Lombardy, Veneto and Liguria regions in Italy will be attending this 40th edition of Cersaie, most of them from artistic high schools and technical institutes specializing in subjects relating to architecture, design and sustainability. Students first-hand experience of the latest developments in the ceramic industry and to offer them additional tools and knowledge to complement the skills they have acquired during their first year of studies. The Italian ceramic industry is constantly engaged in research and innovation in many different fields including automation, digital technologies, research and technology, materials chemistry, design, energy and sustainability and always needs highly skilled and qualified professionals.
