As part of Mannington Mill's ongoing support of communities they are located it, they recently presented the Madison-Morgan County (Georgia) Boys & Girls Club with a donation of $50,000 for their new building capital campaign, plus Mannington Commercial LVT and carpet for their new space.
As a result of this expansion, the Club will be able to increase capacity from 65 youth to over 200. There will be separate areas for elementary school-age kids and middle and high schoolers, plus Game and Activity Rooms, an Art Room, a Kitchen, a Computer Lab, Mentor Rooms, and a Music Studio.
For 155 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America have provided programs that have helped millions of young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Youth who regularly attend The Madison-Morgan County Boys & Girls Club have very positive outcomes, like zero teen pregnancies; zero problems with drugs or alcohol; consistent As and Bs in school; and a 100% graduation rate from high school with plans to enter college or the workforce.
