Whether it’s a shortage of labor or a bit of a slowdown in the economy, the NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, May 2-4, will be where the wood flooring industry gathers to plan for the future. With the theme “Make it Happen,” the association will discuss how to accelerate business and reconnect in person.
Right now, our attendance is tracking ahead of 2019, the last pre-COVID year, held in Tampa,” said NWFA President and CEO Michael Martin. “To be on target to match Tampa, which was our largest attendance, is an accomplishment. And Milwaukee will not disappoint. We will start the connections with our kick-off reception at the Harley Davidson Museum, which will be a great time to catch up with friends while looking at several hundred Harleys. Then, the rest of the week, we turn to running your business in a “normal environment,” and to get back to the business of growth and care for the future.”
Attendees will come together to learn the latest technical skills and products on the show floor, and the latest business, marketing and sales trends in our education workshops. Martin said the association also has a special pre-event, “Protecting and Assuring the Successful Continuation of Your Business on Tuesday afternoon.
“We will wrap things up with a little Germanfest celebration—beer, sausage, and cheese curds—to celebrate the rich heritage of Milwaukee,” Martin added.
