Unilin technologies is pleased to announce that the USPTO found Unilin’s US ser. No. 16/984,747 to fulfil all conditions to become granted. The patent will issue as US 11,236,514 on February 1st, 2022. The scope of the patent, with a priority date as early as 2010, will concern floor, wall and ceiling panels with a synthetic material core, a print performed on the panel itself and being finished with a UV coating.
The patent is among others included in Unilin’s Digitouch, a comprehensive patent and technology package offering a complete digital solution for printing life-like 3D textures and designs directly onto different core materials, such as HDF, vinyl, plywood and cork.
Today’s industrial inkjet printing equipment, combined with the right consumables, allows manufacturing a vast range of stylish wood, stone and other natural material designs in perfect register with their lifelike surface textures, generating a huge added value for our license customer base.
Unilin recently announced its cooperation with Barberan and Zeetree in regard to direct print and texture techniques in this market field.
