Retail members of the Shaw Flooring Network (SFN) had the opportunity to get inspired and learn what's new from Shaw brands at SFN Open: Live from the Dallas Market. The two-day, hybrid live and virtual event took place January 5-6, 2022. Here's a quick snapshot of some of what Floor Trends saw on the floor, and stay tuned for more coverage on TalkFloor.
Jon England, vice president of enterprise accessories at Shaw, discusses the launch of Totalworx, a new brand approach to accessories intended to bring simplicity to the category for retailers and installers.
"To be back in Dallas in front of all of our customers is really fabulous," said Steve Sieracki, VP residential sales, Shaw Floors. "To me, it's about opportunity and growth for our customers. Our customers have had a very successful 2021. They faced it, they navigated it, and they figured out a way to help the consumer. The flooring category is in a good position because the home is in a good position....that's going to continue in 2022."
Kurt Paulson, divisional vice president, Shaw Floors, unveiled Floorigami XL, the next generation of Floorigami. The technology now comes on an attached fiber cushion. Each style is sized in 3 x 12 feet and comes in a box. It has a peel-and-stick installation. In addition, there is a peel-and-stick stair tread that looks like a stair runner.
Quentin Quathamer, commercial brand manager, Shaw Industries, discusses Philadelphia Commercial's Tailored Solutions program, which lets designers swap out a color for as little as 300 yards to match brands, school color, or to a design palette.
COREtec simplified its WPC merchandising for 2022. The new display system includes one fixture for Classic and Enhanced products and one for Premium products.
