Flooring distributor E. J. Welch announced the addition of Tressa Samdal as vice president of marketing. The role was previously held by Kavita McCarthy who was named president in August. 

Samdal brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to the E. J. Welch brand, in a variety of marketing and product management roles for industry leaders including Happy Floors, Florida Tile, Inc., IVC US, and Mullican Flooring. Her recent leadership positions at Florida Tile and Happy Floors focused on overhauling brand image, market research, and strategy planning.

Core to her various roles is the opportunity to serve a wide variety of market segments. Her ability to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation has earned her accolades and an impressive reputation in the industry.
