Shaw Industries Group announced that Doug Enck, executive vice president of Shaw’s commercial division, will retire later this year, after four decades in the industry.
“Doug has been a tremendous leader at Shaw, consistently prioritizing customer experience, championing innovation, developing outstanding teams and advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion within our organization,” said Tim Baucom, Shaw's president and CEO. “He has made a significant and lasting impact both within our commercial business and at the enterprise level. Doug has many professional accomplishments to be proud of, and he will leave behind an impressive legacy with the commercial division well positioned to take share as the market recovers.”
Kelley Fain will assume the role of executive vice president of Shaw’s commercial division, effective June 1. Enck will stay highly engaged with Shaw’s business and support Fain’s transition through September 1. At that time, Enck will transition to retirement, enjoying his health, family, personal projects and traveling.
“Kelley comes into his new position with a proven track record of selling Shaw’s vision, forming and leveraging key strategic partnerships and creating a positive culture for associates,” Baucom said. “After starting his career with Shaw 26 years ago as a management trainee, he has evolved into a dynamic leader who is dedicated to customer centricity and empowering associates to reach their full potential. Kelley is well equipped to lead Shaw’s commercial division through the market's recovery.”
