Creating Your Space and MeasureSquare partnered to support flooring dealers and their customers with the measure it flooring calculation tool.

They collaborated to create a custom interface leveraging MeasureSquare technology designed for consumers to simply and accurately estimate the amount of flooring material needed for their home. This tool accommodates virtually any room type including stairs, and calculates for all major flooring types – carpet, tile, hardwood and more.

The consumer simply chooses their flooring type, their room shape, enters the dimensions and submits. They are immediately provided with a quantity estimate that includes instruction to contact their flooring retailer for a final estimate. This quantity estimate can also be saved in their website workbook, another Creating Your Space proprietary feature for their dealers.

According to the companies, their goal is to enable the customer to get one step closer to purchasing flooring by taking one of the biggest unknowns out of the equation for the consumer – “how much flooring do I need?”
