Already established as one of his generation’s most in-demand design talents, Los Angeles-based Ryan Saghian has an enviable list of discerning clientele and a huge social media following. Recent projects include a $40-million private residence at the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas in Mexico. He’s been equally successful with project launches, including his furniture line, launched in 2014; his wallcoverings, born in 2018; and his tableware, which has been selling out ever since it was introduced in mid-2020.
And now, at only age 28, Ryan Saghian makes his first foray into rugs, bringing his passion for fine textiles and bold designs to a collaboration with Caravan Modern, the world’s leading source of luxury handmade rugs.
The Ryan Saghian Home rug collection features hand-knotted silk rugs, crafted in Nepal and available in four striking patterns, including Saghian’s signature SoHo splatter print; Miracles, featuring a meaningful circular motif, and McCadden, inspired by the allure of Old Hollywood. They are available at Saghian’s flagship showroom on Robertson and Third in Los Angeles.
Saghian’s signature print is a bold splatter, inspired by abstract expressionism and representational of action and freedom.
Ryan Saghian Home rugs retail for $4,500 to $11,000 and were each personally designed by Saghian. However, he notes that they are fully customizable. “I’m all about making it work for your home. If you want to do the SoHo with pink, well, that would look fabulous.” Sizes are 8x10, 9x12, 10 x14 and 12x15.
