Dalton Carpet One is thanking 200 teachers across Athens and surrounding areas for the important role they play in educating the minds of tomorrow by providing them with vital school supplies, area rugs, and coupons from local businesses. In partnership with Certified Clean Care and Newk’s Eatery on Epps Bridge, 200 teacher bags were donated.

“Each year, an increasing number of teachers are forced to use their own paycheck to purchase classroom supplies,” said Adrienne Dean, public relations manager for Dalton Carpet One. “Our teacher supply and rug giveaway helps to alleviate this pressure on teachers, by providing the tools they need to successfully educate our children.”

The giveaway took place July 23 - 24 at the Atlanta Hwy location. Educators with a valid Georgia teacher ID received an area rug and a bag of free supplies on a first-come, first-serve basis to start off the school year.
