American Biltrite announces the official launch of its new Sonata Elements Luxury Vinyl Tile Collection that was originally planned to be launched and featured during NeoCon 2020.
The new Sonata Elements is an 18” x 36” Luxury Vinyl Tile that provides the hygienic benefits of LVT complemented with a dimensional striated textile visual inspired by modular carpet tiles. The gradient color pattern provides the same versatility of carpet tiles to create unlimited interior design options.
“Designers have been looking for LVT designs, other than wood and stone visuals, that can easily coordinate with other finishes, says Catherine del Vecchio, vice-president of marketing. We believe Sonata Elements will answer this need. The collection is based on foundational neutral beiges and grays, which are complemented with neutral tone-on-tone as well as chromatic gradient patterns. The result provides unlimited flooring design options and allows designers to bring in a touch of accent colors without being too overpowering.“
The collection includes:
- Base Tile A: A selection of cool and warm neutral base colors featuring an allover directional pattern design.
- Coordinating Accent Tile B: The base tiles are transformed to include a tone-on-tone neutral directional gradient pattern.
- Coordinating Accent Tile C: Chromatic gradients are then added to the base tiles for even more design possibilities.
The tiles can be used monolithically or mixed to create geometric, wayfinding and unlimited flooring designs. The result is open to the designer’s creativity. Sonata Elements is a 2.5 mm LVT with a 20-mil wear layer for commercial applications available in an 18” x 36” tile format. It features an aluminum oxide polyurethane surface treatment that provides superior scratch and stain resistance and a no-wax-for-life flooring that can be easily cleaned with disinfecting agents limiting the spread of infections. It features a very light embossed texture, a matte finish and a non-bevelled straight edge. It is phthalate-free, FloorScore certified and has an industry EPD.
