Foss Floors of Rome, Ga., announced the appointment of Jim Nielsen as vice president of distributor sales.

Nielsen joins Foss with over 30 years of experience in the floor covering industry. Prior to Shaw Industries purchase of US Floors, Nielsen was the architect and implemented the launch of the Fusion Brand which was how US Floors went to market through distribution. He currently serves on the board of directors for the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors. Nielsen will report  to Sam Ruble, vice president of sales. ​
