Dewalt presents its new 6 1/2” to 8 1/4” Woodcutting Circular Saw Blades, featuring an innovative new tooth design, reduced vibration, high-density carbide teeth, and a reinforced shoulder, making these blades durable options for long periods of use on the jobsite.
The new Dewalt Circular Saw Blades are ideal for any woodcutting application, according to the company. Key to the new blades is the exclusive and patent-pending ToughTrack technology, a tooth design featured on the new Dewalt framing and ripping blades that is engineered to deliver straight, accurate cuts over the life of the blade. The blades’ ATB+R tooth grind helps clear debris from the cutting channel, allowing for tracking and straight, smooth cuts.
In addition, patented body slots on the blades help reduce vibration. Working with the blade's thin kerf design, these body slots deliver exceptional user feel. The teeth on the blades are made of tough, high-density tungsten carbide that helps them resist wear and provides long life. The reinforced shoulder provides impact resistant for strength and durability, especially against nail-embedded wood.
The blades come with a ToughCoat anti-stick coating to reduce friction and gumming. Available this spring, the new blades are optimized for use on both corded and cordless circular saws. All 6 1/2” and 7 1/4” saws as well as combo kits with saws will include these blades, the company noted.
