Saddle Brook, N.J. -- Nourison announced the appointment of Laura Gibson as senior designer for its Hospitality business segment. Gibson’s responsibilities will include design trend analysis, broadloom and rug collection development, product-line extensions, client project design, and trade show planning. She will collaborate with the company’s design, marketing, sales management and product development teams to help further market penetration for Nourison’s hospitality business segment.

Gibson comes to Nourison with extensive hospitality flooring industry experience. She has spent 15 years in increasing roles in design and design management with industry competitors, including Desso/Tarkett, CM Hospitality, Ulster Carpets, Mohawk and Shaw.

“We are very pleased that Laura Gibson has joined Nourison,” said Jonny Peykar, vice president of hospitality. “Our business is growing substantially and Laura’s experience will be important in helping us sustain Nourison’s high-level of customer-focused attention in meeting project objectives. Laura’s clever design-eye, in addition to her expertise in a wide-range of hospitality textile floor covering products, will be paramount toward future Nourison Hospitality development.”

Gibson added, “I am truly excited to join the team at Nourison and to contribute to their growing hospitality business. The company produces top-quality products and has enormous resources in broadloom and rug development. I have also worked previously with Peter Lipkin, vice president of hospitality sales, who was at my former company as well and the leadership team Nourison is assembling is outstanding and a great fit for me.”
