Chicago -- Hannover Fairs USA, organizers of Domotex USA, announced that three digital marketing and branding experts will headline the inaugural show’s Branding And Marketing Growth Sessions on Friday, March 1. The show’s Growth Sessions program, which takes place both Thursday and Friday, will provide floor covering retailers comprehensive tools to build online marketing strategies and to create brands that form stronger bonds with customers.

Kicking off the Friday sessions at 8 a.m. is Alberto Brea, founder and chief growth strategist of REACT, a new independent consulting firm based in New York focused on helping businesses achieve exponential growth through best-in-class customer experience. Brea will share his unique outlook on retail in the age of the customer, highlighting customer expectations and applying those expectations to attract flooring customers. He also will share retail case studies that have conquered intense competition.
“My presentation, Retail In The Age of The Customer, will showcase how floor covering retailers can thrive in the digital universe where customer expectations are constantly evolving,” said Brea. “Attendees will secure game-changing, real-world examples of what a retailer needs to know to move at the speed of the customer and achieve exponential growth.”
The 9 a.m. Friday session, Retail Brand Leadership, will be presented by Derrick Daye, managing partner of The Blake Project, a strategic brand consultancy. Daye manages daily operations at The Blake Project and serves in the delivery of brand stewardship services as a brand strategist and educator. Daye helps organizations release the full potential of their brands and is the founder of Branding Strategy Insider, a leading online resource for brand strategy and management.
Daye will share specific fundamental models and case studies to help floor covering retailers define their unique value and set a course for brand leadership. He also will provide a close look at the most important tools and techniques for differentiation in the flooring category.
“The Friday sessions will outline actionable initiatives that retailers can immediately apply to their floor covering stores,” said Daye. “My session will help the audience think through how to build their brand in an age of disruption, giving them a new level of confidence in their brand’s competitive future.”
Ashley Konson, president of Global Brand Leaders Inc., a boutique management advisory and coaching business located in Toronto, Canada will present the 10 a.m. session, Retail Brand Building Starts on the Inside.
“The focus of my presentation will center on the importance of making your brand strong inside out,” said Konson. “Retailers need to consider whether they have the right strategy in place supported by the right capabilities, and if they are nurturing and shaping a culture that will allow them to deploy their brand strategy effectively.”
Konson’s global experience empowers him to offer clients the tools they need to build brands that positively impact customers. During his session, Konson will present retail brand leadership case studies where culture was the engine for growth. He will showcase how these retailers built a brand strategy, capabilities and culture to shape a brand that is desired by target customers, provides meaningful employment for talented people and is financially rewarding.
Domotex USA also will hold special interest breakout sessions. On Thursday, the NWFA breakout session will focus on color trends in hardwood floors. On Friday, the NWFA’s session will address the labor shortage within the industry. Both NWFA breakout sessions will offer certification credit. On Friday, Emily Morrow Home will host a designer trend panel discussion and luncheon.
