Florida Tile recently introduced Divinity porcelain tile collection, distinguished by a rich surface of captivating veining, delicate striations, and subtle imperfections of natural stone.

“This product truly takes artistry to another level,” said Tressa Samdal, director of marketing for Florida Tile. “The graphic used in the design was based on the last piece of angel stone taken from a quarry that was closing for conservation. If we had not found that piece of stone, only an incredibly small number of people would have been able to enjoy and appreciate this beautiful visual. We have taken that beauty and created a product that is an exquisite attainable luxury.”

Four ethereal colors in this line, Dawn, Dusk, Horizon and Mist, range from a mixture of soft, warm beiges, calm grays and taupe to a dramatic cool dark gray. All feature monochromatic veining and distinct shade variations throughout. Available in 12x24 and 24x24-in rectified field tile formats, this majestic stone look is enhanced with a complimentary collection of 25-piece and random stack mosaics in each color and a mixed-color hexagon mosaic that incorporates all four colors. A bullnose trim completes the collection.

“This product is made entirely in the U.S. and contributes to USGBC LEED points as well as the ANSI approved NAHB Green Building Points,” added Samdal.

Created using proprietary HDP, Divinity HDP is appropriate for all applications in both residential and commercial settings. It is entirely manufactured in the company’s Green Squared certified advanced manufacturing center in Lawrenceburg, Ky., of 40% pre-consumer recycled content. It meets the DCOF AcuTest requirements to be installed in wet areas and is GREENGUARD- and Porcelain Tile-certified. Incorporated into the tile surface is Microban antimicrobial technology that works continuously to inhibit bacteria growth, improve visible cleanliness, and reduce odors.
