On the company’s Open Day, dedicated to top dealers, Porcelaingres unveiled the new Color Studio collection, which will be presented to the general public during the next edition of Cersaie 2018.
The philosophy of the collection stems from the study of color proposed here in eight graceful and muted shades, in line with the furnishing trends of the year. The nuances presented combine warm and cold shades, creating refined color combinations in a natural way, giving life to unique and elegant moods. White, Sage, Powder, Night, Cream, Biscuit, Malt and Brown are the eight naturally desaturated gradations that shimmers with a delicate shining effect in natural light.
Color Studio is offered in four different formats: 120x60, 60x60, 30x30 and 100x100 cm, as well as special pieces with mosaic, strips and geometric shapes, such as triangles, diamonds, trapezoids and rhombi.
The new Color Studio shades, ranging from white to blue and brown, lend themselves to being combined with the flagship Porcelaingres collections which reinterpret precious woods, stones and cements.
To demonstrate the versatility and modularity of Color Studio, the company has collaborated with Hermann August Weizenegger, one of the founding members of Design-Mai. To celebrate Color Studio, the German designer has developed a collection of six furnishing accessories created with precious and light metals such as aluminium and brass, where ceramic surfaces are not only the backdrop for settings but also become the features of the installations.
The matte porcelain stoneware covers bathroom furnishings, shelves and benches of the capsule, and mixes harmoniously with the iridescent reflections of the alloys. Weizenegger also created the Linear decoration: thin metal rods are inserted horizontally and vertically between the Color Studio ceramic sheets, for an effect that evokes the Art Deco atmosphere.
