Obeetee exhibited at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) for the first time, showcasing its new Obeetee Express quick-ship program. The program offers hand-tufted carpets with a two-week lead time for strike-offs after rendering approval and a six-to-eight week production time for most sizes.

Obeetee Express offers 194 stocked colors in 100% New Zealand wool, and the website allows customers to select from these hues to develop unique carpet colorations. The site also lets customers view the rugs in various room settings and print or email samples to clients. Other hues from Obeetee's bank of more than 4,000 colors and additional fibers like silk, viscose, nylon and cotton are possible with a customized lead time.

Obeetee Express launched in October with a collection of 17 designs, each created by a notable designer or architect, to benefit Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) as part of Obeetee’s Specify with Care program. Ten percent of net sales from the designs is donated to DIFFA, regardless of color selection. Obeetee's DIFFA Collection will also be shown at the DIFFA exhibit space at NeoCon East in Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 15-16.
