Walker Zanger has opened its 14th showroom in Port Chester, N.Y.

This new 21,000-square-foot location includes an extensive 14,000-square-foot slab gallery and 4,200-square-foot showroom.

“We are excited to open this new state-of-the-art showroom that is centrally located in Westchester County to serve designers, architects and homeowners in cities such as Greenwich, Rye and Harrison,” said Kim Bernard, Walker Zanger's executive director of facilities design.

The Port Chester showroom replaces the company's Mount Vernon, N.Y., facility. According to the company, Walker Zanger outgrew its old location, needing more warehouse space for product and higher ceilings to fully accommodate a larger crane, but with low ceilings, too many offices and numerous windows, the new Port Chester floor plan came with its own set of challenges. By strategically regrouping the offices, opening up the downstairs space, and adding an additional restroom to the design, the company was able to open up more wall space to extensively display product.

The new showroom is located at 36 Midland Ave. in Port Chester and open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
