Local flooring installers from different businesses came together to volunteer their time and talent to install new matting throughout the new Moving Veterans Forward non-profit location in Algona, Iowa on February 23, 2024.

Surfaces Construction Group, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted a two-day Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) certification for hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) on November 2-3. 

John Steier, owner, Steier Flooring, teamed up with FCEF to promote flooring as a career option at Hawkeye Technical College. Students got the opportunity to practice hand seaming carpet.
