The International Surface Event (TISE) kicked off the 2023 National Installer of the Year Competition with the Southeast Regionals in Orlando, Florida, on July 31. The winner for each category was announced on Monday, August 1, during the International Certified Flooring Installers Convention. 

The account executives will work with the event team and industry manufacturers and suppliers to offer expanded service capabilities to the floor covering, stone, and tile industries. 

TISE will take place January 31-Februrary 2, 2023, with in-person exhibits and hybrid virtual events. 

The lightweight technology reduces the cost of shipping; reduces handling, product damage, and the number of returned goods; offers greater durability; and reduces injury of flooring industry workers. 

The company said the presence was designed to illustrate how Shaw brands are actively driving and delivering highly qualified leads to retailers.

NTCA had a training van in the booth, acting as a beacon for established and new members. 

The new purpose-built herringbone drop-lock system makes it possible for more end-users to do it themselves, by making installation, disassembly and replacements very similar to more conventional flooring installation techniques.

The new system enables wall panels to be either screwed on to slats or glued against a wall.
