Design trend experts at Interface and Flor revealed their top trends for the year and how they are taking shape in commercial and residential spaces.

Aware, which is a new type of flooring for use in both residential and commercial spaces, has an authentic wood appearance, is based on natural and recycled materials, and has a durability that can be compared to that of traditional vinyl floors.

Mannington Mills and Congoleum donated the flooring used in the training for resilient and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) certification, which ran March 2-3, 2023, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. 

Lutea is inspired by the design style Japandi, which blends aspects of Japanese and Scandinavian interiors to create soothing, serene spaces.

Ecore, a manufacturer of high-performance flooring products, is showcasing two of its newest lines of resilient flooring at the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) conference taking place March 23 to 26 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
